Lo primero que uno encuentra en la red al teclear su nombre es una advertencia: 'no confundir con Etta James'.

Etta Jones tenía voz propia, y por sí sola forma parte de la historia de las grandes cantantes clásicas de jazz. Falleció en 2001, 

y aunque quizás no brilló como otras grandes estrellas, dejó temas como éste   'Don't go to strangers'.
